

David G. Michaels passed away on January 9th, 2011 in Midwest City, OK and was born June 29th, 1925 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the son of Douglas and Anna M. Michaels. He was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from the Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base. He was a long time resident of Del City, OK, having lived there since 1952, and was a long time member of Sunnylane United Methodist Church. He married the love of his life Anna Mae Michaels on February 26th, 1948 in Oklahoma City. He was always busy and loved tinkering around the house and on anything that was broken.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anna Mae and one son Billy Lunn. Survivors include a daughter Mollie A. Jones and her husband Frankie of Midwest City, a sister Betty Ann Brown and her husband Joe of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren David L. Jones and his wife Susan of Virginia Beach, Va., Michael O. Jones and his wife Michelle of Broken Arrow and Lisann V. Bennett and her husband Bill of Midwest City; 6 great-grandchildren Melody, Amber, Samantha, William, Danielle and Grant; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two loving nieces Betty Joe and Donna; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 14, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with Interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, OK.
