David J. Vaughn

David Jerome Vaughn, 69, passed away on June 4, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the husband of Lennie M. (Burgess) Vaughn with whom he shared 18 years of marriage. David was born on December 24, 1945 in Albertville, Alabama to Jonas H. and Katherine (McGee) Vaughn.

He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. David worked as a truck driver all of his life. He enjoyed traveling the open roads. He was employed at Rains & Sons Trucking Company.

David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lennie; daughters, Cindy Vaughn Bullock, Tracy Vaughn Hamner; stepsons, Billy Reinert, Jeremy Reinert, Joshua Reinert, Jacob Reinert, Abraham Reinert; his beloved boys (dogs); Mickey Mouse, Rockey, Pooh, and Shit-Head (Cherokee); sister, Pat Glade; brother, Chuck Vaughn, twenty-two and a half grandchildren, brother-in-law, Bert Burgess; sisters-in-law, Angie Burgess, Pam McMahon, Wanda Gail Wilburn; a special recognition to his dear, Steve Neece, and a host of relatives and friends.
