Donald C. Southerland of Newalla, OK., died Sunday April 4, 2010. He was born on October 26, 1954 in New Castle, IN. He retired from General Motors in September 2007, where he had worked for over thirty years. He is survived by his wife Paula (Wright) Southerland; daughter Jessie Southerland Dempkowski (husband Greg); and his only grandchild Ada Leigh Dempkowski. He is also survived by parents Cecil and Cleo Southerland; his two sisters Linda House (husband Chuck) and Dorothy Webb (husband Al). He was preceded in death by his Grandma Ada Tennessee Shaver and Grandpa Mitchell Shaver, Grandpa and Grandma Southerland and dear friend Bruce Beard. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour SE Chapel in Del City, OK. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, OK.
