Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home for friends and family who wish to pay their respects ahead of the service.
Donna Dee Chambers came into this world on December 7, 1962 to Patty and Ron Chambers at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington and left us on December 9, 2022. She was a loving daughter, wonderful mother, and dear friend.
Donna graduated from Del City High School in 1981 and attended the University of Central Oklahoma University. She earned her MBA in Finance from Oklahoma City University. She went on to work for Hertz, where she traveled around the country and overseas as an Auditor. Her career led her into project management as a contractor for FAA, working closely with several companies including L-3 Communications, Leader Communication, Inc. and Karsun Solutions. Outside of her success in her career and seasoned traveling, her greatest achievement was being a mother, never missing a chance to cheer on her daughter, Jennifer.
Donna was always family oriented, spending her summers at her favorite place in the world, Lake Texoma, where she enjoyed water skiing, cooking, and playing games with her family.
Donna is survived by her father Ron Chambers; daughter Jennifer Cote; nephew Josh Richardson and his wife Joshalyn and sons Liam and Leo Richardson; and her great nieces, Jaycee and Austyn Woolverton.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother Pat Chambers, her sister Cindy Fowler, and her nephew Michael Woolverton.
A special thanks to the dedicated doctors with the Integris Cancer Institute, and to the compassionate ICU nursing staff at the Integris Baptist Medical Center (Portland Ave), who helped Donna and her family greatly at the end of her life.
