Donna Sue Frymire was born February 9, 1948 and left this world on June 20, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Claude and Ellen Duren, sister Modene Fitzpatrick, and brothers Ken and Bobby Duren. She is survived by son Matt Frymire and wife Brittany, daughter Christy Winston and husband Richard, grandsons Alex and Nicholas Winston, and Wake Frymire; brothers Don, John and Quenton Duren; sisters: Dean Freie and Pat Frederick; and her loving, devoted companion Jim Thomas.
Donna retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 34 years of government service.
Donna loved her family and friends; she was full of life and ready for adventure. She was a take life as it comes, do what you have to do, fly by the seat of your pants person. She was funny, caring, and fun to be around. She was a genuinely good person and the world was a better place with her in it. We will miss her every day, but she was a free spirit being held down by cancer. Now her spirit is free again.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel.
