Dorothy Luella Bullock

Dorothy L. Bullock, beloved Mom, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great Great Grandma, Aunt and Cousin, went to be with her Lord on Thursday morning, June 25, 2015. She had recently celebrated her 85th birthday with friends and family. Though she had loss the love of her life and soulmate Don, in 2004, she embraced these last 11 years with passion, purpose and joy that was only possible because of her relationship with Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Don in 2004. Her sister Catherine in 2013. She is survived by two sons: Larry & his wife Mary, of Stillwater, OK. Lynn & his wife Debbie, of Weatherford, TX. Sister Charlotte & her husband Pete, & their daughter Becky & Granddaughter Sabrinna of Bremen, KY. Five Grandchildren: Angela & her husband Michael John, of Weatherford, TX; Steffani & her husband Robert, of Yukon, OK and Bailey Don of Colorado Springs, CO. Six Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Granddaughter. Many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

She leaves behind a LEGACY that will carry on for generations to come. Whether it was fighting Rheumatic Fever at the age of 5 or taking on bypass surgery at the age of 85, she would never back away from a challenge, even if the odds were against her. Each of us, who have been touched by her life, no matter how big or small, have been changed in some form or fashion.

The greatest honor that can be bestowed upon her, will be the way we choose to live from this day forward. Not because we knew her BUT more importantly because she knew us, accepted us even in our weakest moments; loved us, even when we were unlovely; cared for us, when we could care less and saw the good in each of us, when we were blind to the potential that resided within us.

Mother, sister, grandma, aunt, cousin, friend.

She was these and so much more. Give Dad a hug for us.

A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Sooner Baptist Church on SE 15th St. in Midwest City, Oklahoma with Reverend Bill Spain and Reverend Lynn Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
