Edward Raymond Tyson passed from this life into the next on February 20, 2010. He was born October 18, 1926 in Boswell, OK to Holmes and Gracie (Stow) Tyson. He enjoyed being a dad, grandpa, great grandpa and great great grandpa.
He loved his family. Most of his working career was spent as a truck driver, but was a cowboy at heart, he loved old cowboy songs, Hank Williams, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboy, and John Wayne movies especially the one The Good, the bad and the ugly. He was a very friendly man that enjoyed talking with people, and drinking coffee at Skyline Restruarant. He never met a stranger. His hobbies included woodworking, fishing and hunting. He had a nickname for everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by sons:Eugene Page, Jimmy Moore, Ronnie Tyson, Bobby Tyson, Billy Tyson, Tommy Tyson; daughters: Janice Gallo, Debra McCampbell, Angela Leyba, Sharon Armstrong; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister: Barbara Duck and husband John. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Pauline; wife, Erma; 2 brothers, 1 sister. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Highway of Holiness Full Gospel Church 2800 SW 38th, OKC with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
