Edwin “Ed” Eugene King, 93 of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away June 14, 2013. He was born on October 18, 1919 in Wayside, Oklahoma. Ed served his country during WWII in the Army Air Force. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 32 years where he retired in 1984. He was a member of Sooner Baptist Church for over 60 years. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ruth, his son David, his Daughter in law’s Beverly and Sharon, Grand Daughters Jamie Reneau of Kingwood TX, Sarah Williams of Temple, TX, Allison King of Nashville, TN, Emily King of Kingwood, TX, and Laura Coleman of Shawnee, OK, 2 great-grand daughters and 2 great-grandsons. Ed was preceded in death by his son James King of Kingwood, Texas.
Family will receive friends and family on June 15th from 5pm to 8pm. Services will be 10 :00 AM Monday, June 17, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will be at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
