Anderson, Geneva Ann, age 88, Midwest City, OK passed away to join her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. She was born on April 29, 1936, in Pettigrew, AR to J.O. (Orben) and Eula (Karr) Ferrel. She married the love of her life, Billy Joe Anderson, on May 31, 1957. She is survived by her daughter Vonna Anderson of Midwest City, OK, sister-in-laws Joan (Ronald) Ferrel and Sandra (Conald) Ferrel, special Uncle Simon (Wilma) Keck, plus many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Donna Anderson, parents, and brothers Conald Ferrel and Ronald Ferrel.
Geneva graduated from St. Paul High School and additionally took accounting classes at Rose State College. She was a homemaker and helped her husband when he was doing taxes out of the home.
Geneva accepted the Lord and joined Sooner Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and working with the little ones in the nursery while health allowed, as well as volunteering for different activities.
Family visitation will be Friday May 3 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sooner Baptist Church, 5824 SE 15th, Midwest City, OK on May 4 at 2:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Sooner Baptist Church Falls Creek fund or Ronald McDonald House.
