

Geraldine “Gerry” Hart, 76, of Oklahoma City passed away February 2, 2012. Gerry was born March 25, 1935 in Marshall County, Kansas to Charley and Katie Wiler. She was a graduate of Stillwater High School. She came to Oklahoma City in 1974 from Blackwell, Oklahoma. Gerry worked for the OKC Public Schools Food Service for 10 years. She was a wonderful cook and seamstress and formerly had her own drapery & upholstery business. Her husband Tom was active in the India Shrine Oriental Band and Arab Patrol and she enjoyed attending various activities there as well. She attended South Lindsay Baptist Church.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Thomas C. Hart Sr., 2 sons: Kenneth Courtright and wife Toni of Fort Worth, Texas, and Thomas C. Hart Jr. and wife Lynn of Chicago, Illinois; 1 daughter: Shirley Kenny and husband John of Rangley, Colorado; 1 sister: Alta Simpson of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 3 grandsons: Justin Courtright, John C. Kenney and Heath Kenny; 1 granddaughter Velvet Kenny and 7 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Southeast Chapel, Del City, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Geraldine Hart be made to The India Shrine Transportation Fund.
