Harold Willard McPherson passed away May 4, 2010. “Mac”, as he was commonly known, was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on November 16, 1925. He attended Meeker High School before enlisting in the Marines, where he served honorably in WWII. He worked for Skelly Oil Co. and Getty Oil Co. for more than 30 years. He was also part owner of “Mac & Jerry’s” Horse Sales with his business partner and best friend of over 30 years, Jerry Dorsey. Mac retired at age 79.
Mac was preceded in death by his first wife Lida, son Rickey, and twin sons, Jimmy and Gary, sisters Lucy Krause, and Jaunitha Hart. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home, daughter Sandra Pruett, and son-in-law Doyle Pruett of Sulphur, grandsons Jason and Tyler Gregory, sisters Vi Barton, OKC, and Dean Dutton, Tecumseh; step-daughters, Lynn Anthony of OKC, Missy Hansen of OKC, and Carol Massey of OKC . He also leaves behind 6 step-grandchildren, and 8 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Forrest Hill Cemetery, Tecumseh. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
