Helene Louise Esker, age 78, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Helene was born July 1, 1944 in Newberry, Michigan to Cecil Frank and Marcella Taylor. Helene spent majority of her time working as an assembly line worker for General Motors but during her free time she enjoyed fishing, skiing, camping, gardening, bowling and spending time with horses. She was a member of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church. Helene’s greatest achievements were being able to live her life to the fullest and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Helene is survived by her son, Frank and wife Nancy Esker from Midwest City, Oklahoma; daughter, Laurie Golden of Moore, Oklahoma; daughter, Patricia Rodriguez and husband Scott Duvall from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and daughter, Marida and husband Larry Kerr of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Helene was a loving caring mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her and will be missed greatly by everyone.
A visitation for Helene will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 Se 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
