

Ina Fay Lane entered her eternal home on August 28, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on May 5, 1939, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Minnie Wall, and spent much of her childhood in Udall, Kansas. Ina grew up surrounded by family, with her two older brothers, Sonny and Don, and her twin brother, Wayne.
On June 28, 1986, Ina married the love of her life, Ronnie Lane, and together they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family.
For 26 years, Ina dedicated her heart and talents to teaching at Del City Elementary, shaping the lives of countless children with patience, encouragement, and a genuine love for learning. She left a lasting mark not only on her students but also on her colleagues and community.
A faithful servant of Christ, Ina was a member of Sunny Lane United Methodist Church and United Women in Faith for 62 years, most recently serving at President of Sunny Lane’s UWF Chapter. She poured her time and energy into her church, always finding joy in serving others and uplifting those around her.
Ina was known for her adventurous spirit, love of travel, and eagerness to embrace life’s experiences. She had a gift for generosity and always put the needs of others before her own. Whether through volunteering, caring for her loved ones, or spoiling her grandchildren, Ina lived with a selfless heart that touched everyone she met.
Her legacy is one of love, faith, and service. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering devotion to family, and her example of a life well lived in service to God and others.
Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie and two brothers, Wayne and Don; and stepson, Kevin Lane. She is survived by four children, Joseph, Robby (Stacey), Mindy, and Angie, all of Del City; two stepchildren, Joanie Wilhelm and Curtis Lane of Wichita, Kansas; 14 grandchildren, Shawn Wilhelm (Lisa), Chelsey White (Ronnie), Colton Lane (Kristi), all of Wichita, Caitlin Dobbs (Troy), Madison Shepherd (Jonathan), Greyson Wolf, JoJo Wood, Garrett Wood, Harrison Wolf, Logan Wood, Grace Wood, Connor Wood, Rachel Wood, and Jackson Wolf; 6 great-grandchildren, Gabriel Dobbs, Aurora Dobbs, Dawson Shepherd, Luke Shepherd, Ember Wood, and Paisley Lane; one brother, Sonny Wall (Pat) of Chandler, Arizona; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ina will be deeply missed and profoundly missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for all the cards, prayers, and support offered to their beloved mother and grandmother.

A funeral service for Ina will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church, 2020 S Sunnylane Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73115. Following the funeral service will be a committal at 3:00 PM at Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Dexter, KS 67038.
Serving as pallbearers are Shawn Wilhelm, Colton Lane, Greyson Wolf, JoJo Wood, Garrett Wood, Harrison Wolf, Logan Wood, Connor Wood and Jackson Wolf.
