James W. 'Jimmy' Vaughan, Sr. went to be with the love of his life Eleanor on 2-15-05. Jimmy is survived by son James W. Jr. and Carol Mathews; son Jay and wife Becky; daughter Jarie Brockman and husband Bill; son Joe and wife Linda; son Jeff and wife Vicki and daughter Jo Jana Harris; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. His sisters-inlaw, Betty Trice, Haroldine and husband Jack Shaffer, Carol Coffee and brother-in-law Harold 'Buddy' Salmon and wife Darla who Jimmy thought of as his own. He is also preceded in death by his parents Marie and Jimmy, sister Rose Marie and daughters Janet and Jill. Jimmy and Eleanor spent 66 wonderful years together raising their family in OKC. Together they operated Entertainers Unlimited and Jimmy was band leader of The Esquirers. Jimmy had a great love for his family and will be forever remembered and missed. Family will be available to meet friends and relatives Friday, February 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Services will be held at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m.
