Jefferson Brian Wyatt, 91, left this life peacefully on July 10, 2012, to be rejoined with his beloved wife of 63 years, Jean, in their heavenly home. He was born on May 22, 1921 in Comanche, TX to George & Millie Wyatt. As a young man, he joined the U. S. Navy and served his country during World War II. After the war, he spent his life as a devoted & loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family. When he retired from the FAA, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and friends until his wife’s health failed. He then devoted all of his time & attention to her care for 12 years. He was “Dad” to his 4 children, Jerry, Karen, Sandy, & Darrel; “Papa” to his 14 grandchildren, Eddie, Becky, April, Timmy, Tammy, Ricky, Tina, Kenny, Cindy, Melissa, Dora, Fern, Darrel Jr. “Blue”, & Jeannie; and “Big Papa” to numerous great & great-great grandchildren. He completed his life on the 4th floor of the VA hospital under the supervision & compassionate care of the staff & nurses. He was loved & will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July, 14, 2012 at Sunny Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK.
