Jeffrey Lawrence Urias, age 52, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. He was born on October 6, 1972 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Diane (Rushing) Hampton and David Lawrence Urias.
Jeffrey worked as a Pawn Broker at First Cash Pawn, and he served in the United States Army. Some of Jeffrey's favorite hobbies include riding on his trike, going to the flea market, taking all 5 kids to Frontier City and the water parks, and arguing with his mother-in-law (joking of course). He also participated in Boy Scouts with the boys for a few years.
One of Jeff's favorite sayings was "Do you smell popcorn?" If you knew Jeff, you knew what that meant. He was an amazing father, a true friend, wonderful son and brother and the best husband ever. One thing about Jeff is that if he saw you upset, he always took the time to listen and support you, to show you that someone cared. He wouldn't want anyone to fuss over him, but was always there to support others.
Jeff did not have enough time here on this Earth. He wanted to travel with his wife after the kids were grown up; he told Carla that he was going to take her on an adventure. He loved his family dearly, and he told his wife everyday how much she meant to him. They all knew how much Jeff loved them and their blended family.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Urias; five sons, two goddaughters, several stepchildren and grandchildren; his sister, Sandy (Urias) Trehern of Barling, Arkansas; his parents, Diane Hampton and David Urias; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
