Jerri Lynn Briseno

Jerri Lynn Briseno passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 41. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on January 29, 1983, to parents Jerry Lynn Briseno and Linda Rene Briseno. Most people know Jerri as the caretaker of the home and her family. Jerri was married to her husband, James Willis Castillo, who loves her so dearly. She had a love for walking her puppies, Diamond and Daisy, at Scissortail Park. Jerri was so proud of being a mom, caring for her puppies, and gathering with family. Jerri was a member of Life Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Al Briseno; Grandma Irene Teresa Briseno; Uncle Lloyd Hernandez, Daniel Parton, and Austin Klinekole Sr.; Aunt Barbra Briseno; Grandmother Janice Fairchild and Grandpa Phillip Parton; father-in-law Jose Castillo; and cousin Rebecca Ross.

Jerri is survived by her children: James Willis Castillo Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Adrian Rangel Castillo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Alexis Irene Castillo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Maya Lovanne Castillo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Michael Abott of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; siblings Phillip Anthony Briseno of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Joey Santana Salinas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and sisters Crystal Irene Briseno of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Summer Brooke Dutton (Dennis Eugene Dutton) of Anadarko, Oklahoma; expecting one grandchild; 10 nieces; and 8 nephews.

She leaves behind her friend Gloria Haney, cousins Tonya Briseno, Jimmy Briseno, Ryan Bhuvasorakul, Aretha Garcia, Corena Autaubo, EJ Kishketon, Nikki Stephensen, Austin Klinekole Jr., Marie Klinekole, Carrie Klinekole, Aunt Kelly Klinekole, and Aunt Donna Stephensen. Along with many other family members.

A visitation for Jerri will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 Se 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 4000 Se 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A burial will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115.
