

Jerry Don Spence “Guybo” was born on November 21, 1955, at Memorial Hospital on Capitol Hill in Oklahoma City, Ok. He passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025.He had just celebrated his 70th birthday. Mr. Spence passed away at his son’s home in Moore, Oklahoma of cancer.
Guybo was preceded in death by his father, Willis Troy Spence; mother, Viola Jean Spence; brother, Jimmy {Jimbo} Lee Spence; sister, Patricia Jean Walker; daughter, Christina Jean Loveless; and his son, Robert Edward Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Todd Allen Spence; daughter-in-law, Alicia Spence; nephews, Joey Spence and Tommy Walker; nieces, Angie, Autumn, Shelia, and Tina; grandchildren, Jessica Rios, Natalie Dunning, Ryan Webb, Michael Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Jacob Johnson; great-grandchildren, Allee Irvin, Na’kiya Davis, Kingsley-Lee Westerman, Gregory Kubica III, and Kalilah Wright; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Guybo was a 3-phase winder for Evan’s Electric from 1978 till 2023, when he retired {the company was IPS at time of retirement}. He started working when he was 12 years old, he made a whole 50 cents a day sweeping up floors.
Guybo loved to listen to all types of music from Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Megan Trainor, Eagles, and Journey. Jerry loved to watch Nascar, Thunder basketball, women’s golf, and as everyone who knew him knows BOOMER SOONER Let’s Go OU!!!!!!
He would always help out even when it would leave him empty. Guybo loved spending time with all his friends throughout the years and he reminiscing about their time together with friends who came to see him in his last months and the stories he told were great. Guybo loved spending just as much time with his family. Jerry loved to bowl he was on many different leagues.
Visitation will be on Wednesday December 3rd from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane 4000 SE 29th ST Del City, Ok 73115
Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home At Sunny Lane Cemetery, located at 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, on December 3, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same location on December 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
Committal will follow at Dale Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers include Ernist Sumner, Ryan Webb, Joey Spence, Fred Hanes, Justin Bulmer, and Michael Mills. Todd Spence will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
