Jerry Alan Ward left this life to be with the Lord on December 29, 2010. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 57. He was born November 23, 1953 to James and Sarah Ward. He was a loved husband and father, leaving behind his wife of 22 years, Mary Ward; his 4 sons: Jery and Justin Ward, David and Dennis Whisenhunt; and his 2 daughters: Kimberly Fairley and Julie Whisenhunt. Jerry was also blessed with 25 grandchildren. He served his country in the Vietnam War as Sergeant E5 in the Air Force. He also owned his own converter business. Jerry was known to be a very hard worker. He also loved the Lord and his family very much. He will be truly missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents, sister and 2 brothers. he will be laid to rest on Monday, January 3 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Chaplain Roy Barker will be officiating the service.
