Jimmy Ray Pittman, 82, passed away on July 23, 2016. He was born on July 20, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK to Willard Guy and Etta Melissa (Gray) Pittman. On June 3, 1952 he married the love of his life Joan (Maddox) Pittman and have been happily married for 64 years.
He worked as a Petroleum Engineer in oil and gas production for many years. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Pittman; siblings, Shirley Mead, Pat Mirshall, and Richard Pittman; Survivors include his wife, Joan Pittman; son, Mark Pittman (Margaret); grandchildren, Marcus Pittman (Sarah), Martin Pittman (Meredith); and great-grandson, Luke Pittman. Jim, we'll miss you forever and you will live on in our hearts for always.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
