

Johnnie Lloyd Bellah 87 of Del City, OK passed away April 16, 2014. He was born September 4, 1926 in Washita County, Ok to John A. Bellah and Frances (Archer) Bellah. Johnnie spent his early years in Butler, OK. He married Mildred Wandean Thompson February 12, 1944. Johnnie and Mildred ran businesses in Butler and Okarche until Johnnie was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Lumbermens Supply Co for 30 years, then founded Del City House of Prayer in 1982, where he and Mildred still pastored. He is survived by his loving wife Mildred, 2 sons, Mike Bellah and wife RaDonna, and Ted Bellah and wife Bonnie; 4 grandchildren, Johnnie Ferrell and wife Kate, Derek and wife Mary Ann, and Steven Cash, Jennifer Trent and husband Jim; 7 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Braydon, Jaxson, Austin, Allison, and Annalise; 1 sister, Thelma Dureksen and husband John, and 1 brother, Thurman Bellah and wife Kathy; many nieces, nephews and friends and co-workers for Christ. He is preceded in death by his sister, Inez Cook. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, April 21, 2014 at Del City House of Prayer, 3930 SE 27th, interment will be at 3:00 PM at Odessa Cemetery near Gotebo, OK.
