When Katherine was a young girl she heard her nations call and join the U.S Air Force and was proud of her service, although it was only for a short time. After leaving the armed forces Katherine went to Cosmetology school and practiced cosmetology for years before changing course again. She decided to become a real estate agent/broker, which led to owning a real estate and broker office for 45+ years. Katherine was creative and spent her free time decorating cakes and baked goods, making ceramics, and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She even won numerous awards for her cake decorating and real estate work. She also enjoyed watching football and was an avid OU and Dallas Cowboys fan but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Katherine married the love of her life, William “Bill” Bishop and together they built a loving home. Katherine and Bill remained in love until his passing in 2009.
