LaVella Mae Rayls

LaVella had a beautiful smile and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She never met a stranger. LaVella was given the beautiful gift of being able to paint. She was a wonderful tole painter who could paint anything. She used her artistic abilities to make scrapbooks. LaVella was an avid church member of Covenant Life Assembly Church in Moore, OK. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and her dogs. Lavella loved being outside working in her yard. No matter what kind of yard work she was doing, it brought joy to her life. She and her family would enjoy traveling. They were always willing to hop in the car and go on an adventure. One of her favorite places to travel was the beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband, Delbert Rayls. Survivors include her children, Debra Unklesbay and husband Jeffrey, and Diana Johnson; grandchildren, David Unklesbay and wife Misty, Christina Morgan and husband Jonathan, and Aaron Johnson; great-grandchildren, Echolyn, Skyla, Gavin, Jerith, and Josh; step-mother, Christine Pittendrigh; brother, James Pittendrigh and wife Angie; sister, Brenda Long; her loving dogs, Bella and Harley; and numerous other family members and church members of Covenant Life Assembly Church in Moore, OK.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will be held at the Sunny Lane Cemetery.
