

L.F. “Bud” Walker, Jr., 87 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on June 23, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born October 21, 1925 in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of Leander Fletcher Walker, Sr. and Nellie (Wallace) Walker. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, proudly serving in submarines. Bud was a longtime instructor for the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a huge OU Fan; loved computers; fishing; bowling; and was active in Politics and current in World Events at all times. Bud was a very talented musician, playing in 5 orchestras during his high school years. He played the bassoon. Bud also loved flying and flew his Cessna airplanes every chance he got. Survivors include 3 sons, Robert and his wife Linda Walker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Charles and his wife Kelly Walker of San Diego, California; and Richard Walker of Melbourne, Australia; 1 step-son, Donnie and his wife Melody Scholl of Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brian and his wife Melissa Walker; Amy and her husband Phillip Van Gordon; Sheridan Fowler; J. and his wife Christy Walker; Kalynda Walker; Brad Walker; Jon Anthony Walker; Taylor Walker; Darrin Scholl; Dana and her husband John Perkins; Molly and her husband Chet Thompson; and Kelly Fry; great-grandchildren, Kristopher; Emily; Ethan; Zoey; Logan; Bailey; Jacob; Amanda; Dillon; Jake; Dakota; Maddi; and Tate. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, Oklahoma with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
