

Ms. Collier was born August 1, 1937, in Bastrop, Louisiana. She lived in California for more than 60 years, working as a crossing guard for the city of Sunnyvale, CA for over 15 years and as a waitress for more than 30 years. She enjoyed both jobs because they gave her a chance to meet new people and make them laugh. She loved bingo, word puzzles, listening to music, and making friends.
She moved to Oklahoma in 2023 to live near her eldest daughter Deborah.
Lillian is survived by daughters Deborah Hackworth and Donna Weatherall (m. Alan Weatherall); grandchildren Justin Hackworth (m. Jennifer Hackworth), Carla McDowell (m. Casey McDowell), Jaime Sholly (m. Nic Sholly), and Devon Weatherall, and great-grandchildren Lauren, Katelyn, and Ryan Hackworth, Winnie and Wyatt McDowell, and Eleanor Sholly, and brother and sister Kirby Turner and Lana Cummins, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband James Heflin, parents Maudie and George Turner, brother Bernie Turner, and sisters Pearl Cox, Joyce Williams, Vivian Sears, and Sue Riles.
A graveside service for Lillian will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
