The family moved from Lubbock to Wanette, OK, when Margurette was an infant. When she was in high school, the family moved to Oklahoma City. She graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. Margurette married C.L. Ginn on June 26, 1948.
She was a homemaker. She loved to cook and was very good at it. She volunteered as a cook for Meals-On-Wheels at Del City Church of Christ for many years. She was a member there for 63 years.
She loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a quilter and did a variety of crafts. She was also an avid reader. She had read the Bible through several times. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter; Linda Wells and husband, Ron; daughter-in-law, Judy Ginn; sister, Edith Carillo; grandchildren, Karen and husband, Chris Schoelen, Heath Wells, Jeremy Ginn and wife, Charlotte, Larra and husband, Justin Willis, Kalyn and husband, Rhett Murphy; great-grandchildren, Christian Schoelen, Samuel Schoelen, Kyle Ginn and wife, Jordan, Kate Ginn, Avery Willis, Kayden Murphy, Declan Murphy, and Mac Murphy.
In addition to her parents, Margurette was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Larry Ginn; sisters, Francis McIntire and Katherine Posada; and her brother, Edwin McIntire.
A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens, located at 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139, on December 26, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
