

Marion loved the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. While in the Army, he fought on the front lines in the Korean Conflict. Marion was like a dad to all his children’s friends and a grandpa to all his grandchildren’s friends.
Marion married the love of his life, Louella Travis on December 21, 1952 and together they had two children, Leslie Don Cannon and Debra Ann Cannon (Collier). Louella and Marion’s six grandchildren are Jeremy Cannon, Syrena Brown and husband Damon, Amy Terhune, Christopher Cannon, Rebecca Cannon (deceased), and Kayla Cannon; seven great-grandchildren, Trey Cannon, Kally Cannon, Jamie Terhune, Gage Vulgamore, Zane Brown, Aiden Terhune, and Micahel Alley. After the passing of Louella, Marion met his companion, Leota Kegin. Leota had four children, Verna Kegin, Joni Darnell, Buddy Kegin, and Renee Abbott; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. All of which he loved as his own. Marion had six siblings, Mary Ellen Cooper, and husband Frank (both deceased), Bill John Cannon and wife, Ruby (both deceased), Austin Cannon and wife Arlene, Grace Kralik, Franklin Cannon and wife Norma, and Tina Cannon. Marion also had numerous nieces and nephews that he loved like his own.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Edmond, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
