“Laverne” was born in Idabel, OK to LE and Novell Williamson Brown. She retired in 2001 after 25 years with the records department and marshal’s office of OKC. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her four children; Kenny Burnett, Ronnie Burnett, Sandra Ferguson, and Steve Burnett, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one brother Don Brown and wife Jan, and a devoted friend Gene McFall.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tues. Sept. 26, 2017, at the Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
