Mary left this world quietly in her sleep on the morning of June 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents John A, Sr. and Gertie Ruth Best Singer, sister, Lula Frances Owen, brothers, Billy Ray, John A. Jr., George Carrol, and Everett Lee.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Harold David, sons David Allen, his wife Lori, Kenneth Edward, his wife Kathy. Grandchildren Joshua Lockhart, Erin Bohon, Christopher Sanders, Jennifer Baird, Jamie Poteet, Heather Swearingen. 9 great grandchildren, 3 great- great- grandchildren, sister, Martha Jean and her husband Don Short.
Mary took great pride in the numerous children she cared for and nurtured in her home based day care. She was also very grateful of the parents who trusted their children to her care. Mary enjoyed the motorcycle dinner rides and short camping trips with her husband. She is now in the care of God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her Heavenly Home.
