

After graduating from Central High School, a young Bob Mitchell saw her walking down the street and told his friends he had just seen the girl he was going to marry. They married August 11, 1951, sharing their life together until Bob’s passing in 2018, and are now joined for eternity.
In their early years they lived many places from Pawhuska, OK, Oklahoma City, and Liberal, KS before settling in Del City in 1966. She worked and retired from SW Bell and then they enjoyed many years of traveling the country with family, friends and their Crossings Church group as their coffee cup collection in the garage shows along with a love of her Precious Moments and Jim Shore collectibles.
Nancy loved her family and will be deeply missed as a wonderful and caring Mom, Mother-in-law, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt and doggie Grandma.
She leaves behind her heartbroken family of two daughters, Debbie Ragan and husband Steve, Cindy Goodwin and husband Tim; three grandsons, Chris Smith and girlfriend Kim Hallin, Ryan and Jennifer Smith, and Jeff Smith; two great-granddaughters, Aydan and Arlynn Smith; two grand-dogs, Teddy and Winnie Goodwin; along with three nieces, Nancy Young, Linda Neill and Sheri Forge’t and their families and many lifelong friends.
Services will be Thursday June 19th at 2:00 pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
In honor of our mom, please feel free to wear pink, her favorite color.
