

Oliver Victor Anderson, age 100 years, 8 months and 5 days passed from this life into eternal life in heaven, Saturday March 5, 2011, at his home in Oklahoma City following a period of declining health. He was born June 30, 1910 to Victor and Edna (Peterson) Anderson in St. Paul, MN. As a young man he worked for Montgomery Ward, and operated his own paint store before beginning a career as a manager at 3M Company, St. Paul. Oliver was a dedicated Christian and church man, as well as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. In 1986 he and his wife, Norma, moved to Weatherford, OK where they resided until 2009. Oliver is survived by his wife, Norma, of the home, daughter Suzan (Les) Milner of Circle Pines, MN, daughter Carol (Walt) Bryant of Aurora, CO, daughter Judith (Charles) Anderson of Oklahoma City, son Robert (Deborah) Anderson of Little Rock, AR, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He was loved and admired by all who knew him. The family will received visitors Wednesday, March 9, from 7-9 pm at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, Del City. A funeral service will be observed Thursday, March 10, at 1:30 pm at Pine Acres Church, 1321 Lark St, Weatherford, OK, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
