Patricia Janet Hughes-Brever was born on April 29, 1929 in Oklahoma City to James May and Sylvia Treat. She grew up in Talihina OK, then moved to OKC when she was a teenager. Her favorite hobbies throughout the years included painting, making scrapbooks of her favorite Sunday morning paper comics, writing in her journal, reading her Bible daily, but her favorite thing to do was being a caretaker and wife. Patricia was a firm believer in God. She attended Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany, OK for over 25 years and continued to tithe when she couldn't physically make it to church. Patricia is preceded in death by Billy Hughes and Lawrence Brever. She is survived by her son Gary Hughes, daughter-in-law Carol Vande, grandchildren Greg Vane, Kim Griffin, Kelli Hughes, Mitchell Hughes and many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
A funeral service for Patricia will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
