

Philip Conrad Long, 66, Midwest City went on to be with the Lord, Tue. March 8th 2022. He was born Aug. 28th 1955 in Tokyo, Japan to Preston & Billye Long. He was a 1973 grad of Del City High School, shortly after entered the Navy. While serving he met his lifelong companion and devoted wife Feliza in the Philippines. Philip was honorably discharged and continued his education at the University of Oklahoma receiving an engineering degree.
He continued to serve his country working as a Civilian Engineer at Tinker AFB from where he retired in 2012 with 37 years of service. Philip started a second career working with Boeing in a position that he truly loved, his attention to detail and unique ability to understand complex minutia aided his work designing components and systems for aircraft.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Cameron. He is survived by his loving wife Feliza, siblings Kent of Norman and Robin Haley of Edmond.
Philip was an avid car enthusiast. He owned Trans Ams, Camaros, and finally fell in love with Vettes and was an active member of the Corvette Club of Oklahoma. He and Feliza participated in Road Rallies and actually ‘tighten-the-bolts’ on his ZR-1’s engine at the manufacturing plant. Philip will be sorely missed by his family, co-workers and friends.
A funeral service will occur Monday, March 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Paul's The Apostle Catholic Church, 3901 S. Sunnylane Rd, Del City, OK 73115.
