Robert Irving Steffens III

Robert Irving Steffens III, aka Little Robert (as his family lovingly called him), was born November 16, 1981, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Robert Irving Steffens Jr and Teresa Ann Steffens. He died October 24, 2024, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Robert was preceded in death by both his parents, Robert Irving Steffens Jr. and Teresa Ann Steffens, and all paternal grandparents. His family will greet him at Heaven's gates with love.

He is survived by two sisters, Christina Lewis, spouse Roman Lewis, and Mistie Girard, spouse Aaron Girard. He also has two nephews, Caleb and Clay Girard, and one niece, Lauren Girard. His aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous other family members dearly loved Robert.

Robert attended Moore High School, graduating in May 2001.

Robert loved God, his family, and OU. He worked at OU Fit and Recreation Center for over 20 years, bringing him great joy and purpose. He also found friendship and another family that would take him in as their own. Earlier in life, Robert was a proud participant in the Special Olympics for Softball and Running. He was also a member of a bowling League, the Braves, achieving many trophies. Traveling with his family and friends brought joy to Robert; he was always up for a vacation. In Roberts's final years, he resided at Able Group Home in Norman, Oklahoma.

His services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 2 PM CST at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Del City, OK.

Gerald Smith Sr, Gerald Smith Jr, Randy Smith, Tyler Anthony, Caleb Girard, and Clay Girard will be pallbearers, and Jacob Anthony and Jason Carrouth will be honorary pallbearers.

A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
