Roma James “RJ” Hipp, 85, passed away on March 30, 2012. RJ was born on November 22, 1926 in Centrahoma, OK to Robert Guy and Willie Isola (Boddy) Hipp. RJ taught Science in the Oklahoma Public and Casady Schools for thirty years and after retirement he worked as a locksmith.
RJ was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roy Hipp. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Bobbie; daughter, RoNel Hipp; two granddaughters, Angelica and Athena Hipp; nephews, Gary O’Neal and family, Rick O’Neal; niece, Sharon O’Neal; sister in law, Betty Jeane Hipp.
A service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel at 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, OK 73115. The family will be receiving guests at the conclusion of the service.
