Ruby Evelyn Nailon, 85, died Thursday, December 8, 2022 in her Oklahoma City home. Ruby was born on June 11, 1937 in Childress, Texas to Dave Russell and Minnie Morgan. Ruby loved watching westerns, game shows, and cartoons with the kids, and more than anything, reading her bible. She also loved going to church at Friendship Chapel Assembly of God and playing cards with the ladies.
Ruby is survived by her children, Frances Olguin (husband Daniel), Janice Reece (husband Everett), Robert Nailon (wife Ronda), Debbie Sallaska, Tammy Williamson (husband Shawn), and Christine Smith; 32 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Vance Nailon; father Dave A. Russell; mother Minnie Mae Morgan; daughter Darlene Robles; son-in-law Greg Smith; grandson Brad Chambers; 3 brothers, Lawrence, Carl, and Billie Russell; and 3 sisters, Ruth Galliant, Clara Hawkins, and Donna Parks.
Ruby will be remembered as the loving and God fearing Wife, Mother, Granny, Aunt, and much much more.
