

Ruthie Ranae Gendreau, 53, passed away on November 6, 2015. Ruthie was born on September 2, 1962 in Visalia, California to James William and Dorothy Viola (Tupin) Rutherford. Ruthie was the most beautiful, genuine, and compassionate lady that had a smile that could fill any room with love. Ruthie was a gourmet chef who could cook or bake anything. She even made everything from scratch. Some of her specialties were her cherry surprise and beef stroganoff. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She and her husband, Duane spent time going to Broadway shows and concerts. Many times they would enjoy walks together. Ruthie worked for the Putnam City School Administration for many years and was well known in the school district as a caring person. She loved to travel with her husband. One of her favorite places to go was to Portland, OR to see her daughter, Amber. Ruthie was a jewelry maker who enjoyed making watches and turning special keepsakes into jewelry. Ruthie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Annabell Clark; brother, Edward Lee Pace; and nephew, William Luke McLain; Survivors include her loving husband, Duane Gendreau; mother, Dorothy Hill and husband, Delmer; daughter, Amber Rhemrev and husband Mark; step-daughters, Lindsay and Felisha Gendreau; grandchildren, Cash and Colt Rhemrev; sister, Carol McLain and fiancé Josh; step-brothers, Duke and Ronnie Hill; nephews, Wesley, Mathew, James, and Nathan McLain and Michael and Alex Pace; niece, Hailey Pace; and many other friends and family members who will miss her dearly.
