Sherry Glynn Willis

Sherry was born to Phillip Jackson and Joy (Thompson) Jackson in Phoenix, Arizona on December 2, 1959. They later moved back to Oklahoma City.

Sherry was the Vice President of Operations for Bentley Hedges Travel in Oklahoma City when she passed. She began working at Bentley Hedges in 1991. Sherry loved to help her clients, who ultimately became her friends, with their travel plans. She also loved to go fishing when she had time and work in her flowerbeds. Sherry would tell you that her greatest achievements in life were her children and grandchildren.

Sherry is survived by her husband Johnny Hindman of Del City; daughters Melissa (Willis) and husband Ryan Davis of Midwest City and Allison(Hindman) and husband Eric Futrell of Choctaw; three grandchildren, Jackson Bemo, Kevin Davis and Hallie Futrell; her mother Joy Huggins; her father Phillip Jackson and wife Janie; her sister, Wren Jackson; her brother Scott Jackson, as well as the father of her children, Richard Willis, and many nieces and nephews and other loved family members.

Sherry was preceded in death by her son Adam Willis in 2016, as well as her grandparents and many other beloved family members. What a joyous reunion that must have been!

Sherry will especially be remembered for her strength. She truly embodied the character of Jesus in her spirit of selflessness and this was evident to everyone she met. She always put other’s needs and care before her own. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Bill Eisenhour funeral home in Del City, OK. Sherry will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City following the service.
