Shirley Carolyn (Bewley) Myers, 80, went to join her husband Jim in Heaven on December 26, 2014. She was born March 27,1934 in Cordell, OK to Paul Nelson Bewley and Mable (Craig) Bewley. Shirley married her soul mate Tom "Jim" Dahl Myers on June 07, 1952. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and sister. Shirley and her husband Jim purchased a rural country store in1955 where they operated as Myers Grocery and lived there with their children until 1989. Shirley worked at Guy H. James Ind. from 1989 until she retired in 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 yrs. Tom "Jim" Dahl Myers, her parents, one brother Norman Bewley. She is survived by her four children Tommy Myers & wife Diane of Choctaw, OK., Lenita Yates & husband Richard of Oklahoma City, OK., Michael Myers of Oklahoma City, OK., Deborah Taylor & husband Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK., one brother Wayne Bewley & wife Vonnie of Moore, OK., two sisters Jerilyn Hart of Tecumseh, OK., Sharon Culp & husband Ray of Del City, OK., eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at Schwartz Cemetery, S.E. 89th St. and Anderson Rd. on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
