Steve was the kindest, most caring, and giving individual you could ever meet. He joined the U.S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam. Steve loved celebrating the holidays with his family, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. He enjoyed, watching Christian television shows, fried chicken, beans and cornbread, loud music, and buying a new truck every two or three years.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Buddy and Cole Wes Carter. Survivors include his siblings, Robert Still Carter (Bobbi), Billie Howard (Eddie), Jack Carter, Carolyn Smith, Molly Morrel, Sandra Toby (David), Charles Carter (Joetta); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 10:0 a.m., on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK.
