Steven Tan Ly was born Tan Hoang Ly in Can Tho, South Vietnam on April 21, 1961 and passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 24, 2021. Steven is survived by his wife, Tramy Cong Tran; his daughters, Anh Thu Hoang Cunningham and Anh Tram Hoang Ly; his granddaughter, Audrey Linh Cunningham; and his 6 siblings: My Anh Samuels, Chuong Ly, Dung Ly, Tony Ly, Phuong Ly, and My Ngoc Tran. Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Bach Thi Tran; and his father, Le Thu Ly.
Steven was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Steven was also an avid cat lover and had many cats through out the years that he loved and cared for. Steven loved traveling, reading, watching movies, and learning various subjects. Steven was a kind, compassionate, and empathetic man who never hesitated to help others in need and never expected anything in return.
Steven will be missed terribly by all of those who loved him and continue to love him as well as those whose lives he has impacted by his generous soul. Steven will always be remembered and will forever live in his loved ones hearts until the day they are reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven.
