Thomas worked an aerospace communication supervisor for 31 years. He loved the University of Oklahoma sports. He especially loved OU football. He enjoyed being outside whether it was playing golf, fishing, or growing vegetables in his garden. He was very organized in whatever he did. Thomas loved his family very much and loved taking vacations with them. They went to most of the National Parks in the western United States.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Patton; and brother, Lester Patton. Survivors include his sons, Phillip Patton and wife Nina, Tony Patton and wife Victoria; and daughter, Libby Albright and husband Bob; grandchildren: Alicia, Brian, Tres, Kerri, Steve, and Eileen; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan Harmon. A grave side service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
