Timothy Todd Resar was born the morning of 20 October 1962 to Ronald A and Sandra R Resar at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Tim graduated from Del City High School in 1981. Tim was a lifelong resident of OKC and knew so very many people here. Tim was a house painter, remodeler, and all-around handyman. He worked way too much and was a perfectionist. His clients can tell countless stories of his great work performed for them. They will also tell you that Tim was all business and rarely spoke about his personal life. He could be in a crowd, and he would be the quiet guy watching everything going on until you engaged him in a conversation about something he knew about. Then, you had better want to hear what he had to say because was going to give it to you straight. And you had better not be offended by his frequent expletives. He was definitely a character.
As a teenager, Tim developed an interest in his Grandfather Ray's model trains. He inherited many of these when Grandpa Ray passed. He still had them at the time of his own passing. He also developed an interest in old coins.
Tim is survived by his parents, Ron and Sandra, also of OKC. He is also survived by his older brother, Russell Sumrall of OKC, his sister, Tammi Resar, also of OKC, his younger brother Tony Resar, of Moore, OK, and his youngest brother David Resar, of Wynnewood, OK. Tim was close to his extended family. He had many aunts and uncles, cousins, second cousins and nephews. Many of them are in OKC, while many others are scattered across the US.
