Tommy and I played a lot of baseball and I was looking forward to telling him at least one more time that it was the long throw in from left field that I lost in the sun and hit me right between the eyes that knocked me out…not him running me over as he scored from third while I was trying to block the plate. A lot of good memories. Tommy was a great guy and that's how I will remember him.

Tommy and I spent a lot of time together as kids. For a while, his mother kept my brother & I while our mom worked. One of our favorite pass times was playing canasta with baseball cards. Each team and player had a value. Mickey Mantle was the Ace of Spades. Those were great times and the memory of Tommy puts a smile on my face.

Tommy lived just a half block away during our grade school days in Tonkawa and my brother and I were back and forth to his house as he was to ours.  So sorry to hear of his passing and know that it will take time get over your loss.

Well Cotton, I wish I had called you a month earlier.  I hate losing my old friends and you were certainly in that category.  RIP, brother.  You will be missed by so many.

So sorry to hear that a former high school classmate has passed on.  I always enjoyed Tom's sense of humor.

Sharon and family, so very sorry to hear Tom passed away. He was an important part of our growing up years in Tonkawa and we were hoping to see you guys at our reunion. So saddened to hear of Toms passing, tho I had not seen him since highschool I talked to him several years ago after I had attended our 45th class reunion, he sounded like the same ole Tommy full of laughter, and mischief....I was hoping he would be at our 50th this year, he told me that I wasn't the only one who needed the use of a scooter, I was hoping to get a race out of him... Tom was a very hospitable person who always made sure we were hydrated while cutting grass. I pray that God will strengthen Sharon and the entire family who he adored. May the peace of God rest upon you during your hour of bereavement.

I served in the USAF/2953rd CLSS with Tom.  He was my mentor and became a lifetime friend.  I will never forget the lessons he tought me and our experiences.  God bless.

Tom was a cherished friend.   We had many good times when we served in the 2953rd together and later at Boeing.  RIP my dear friend, I'll see you soon!  Keep everyone up there organized!

Tom (Hollywood) Hayes was a good friend,mentor and one of the best supervisors I had during my tour at TAFB. Man we had some great times when we got together, Which was all the time. The 53rd was one big happy family. We would get our families together and go out to Randy's place and we would have a blast. Camping out for the weekend at Ted's place out in the country,playing softball,football, man we did it all. Tom was a realtor and he sold Rose and I our first ever home in March 1985 and today we still living there today. Tom was a real down to earth guy and I am truly blessed that I was able to call him my friend. Rest in peace my Brother. I will miss you. JD

Tom was my supervisor when I was first assigned to the ER at Tinker.  We always had a great time working and he was a great quarterback for our intramural squad, he'd pass and I'd catch.  I don't know how many times we went, but the pheasant hunting trips to Nebraska were always a time to look forward to during the hunting season.  Good memories.
