Verma Lee Smoot 78, passed away November 25, 2009 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.She was born August 7, 1931 in Mulhall, Oklahoma to Pat and Jewell Cantrell.Verma married Johnnie L. Smoot November 26, 1968 in Oklahoma City, OK.She was a member of Spirit Rain Ministry Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Her hobbies included Arts and Crafts and Hiking. Verma retired from General Motors.Verma had two children Melvin Emerson and Michelle Smoot. Then came into the world four wonderful grandchildren Nikki Smith, Miranda Rose, Heather Michelle and Phoenix Marage Grizzle. Two Great-Grand Children; Serenity and Scarlet, and a Step-Daughter Terri Lee Ann Wallace.Surviving family members include her loving husband Johnnie Lee Smoot, her children and their families, two brothers; Dee Cantrell and Lewis Cantrell, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents and one son Melvin Emerson.Services are 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
