Graduating from Capitol Hill High School, Wanda went on to become a talented and accomplished artist. She enjoyed creating artwork and crafting in many different mediums, restoring furniture, and had a passion for reading. Wanda’s inventiveness and perseverance led to her becoming a 100% self-sufficient business woman. However, her greatest achievement was being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, son Robin Howland, daughter Jamie Burkhalter, brothers Jimmy and Denis Treat, and sister Judie Blancett.
Wanda is survived by her son Willliam Howland Jr. with wife Laurie of Rio Rancho; NM; son Tracy Howland with wife Christine of Rio Rancho, NM; son John Henson of Oklahoma City; sister Patricia Brever with husband Larry; as well as sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three nieces, and six nephews.
Anyone that came in contact with Wanda fell in love with her winning attitude, drive, and vibrant smile. Throughout her life she impacted the lives of others with her kindness and integrity.
Wanda will be loved and missed by all.
