Born in Red Rock, Oklahoma June 2, 1930, to Max and Alice Moore. Wendell graduated from Northeast High School in 1948. He went on to the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 1952. At the University of Oklahoma, he was on the sword drill team. Wendell served in the Air Force from 1948 – 1956 as a 1st Lieutenant. Wendell worked for Citi Service for 37 years and retired at the age of 55. After retiring he enjoyed bowling with his many friends. Wendell was also an avid fan of Oklahoma football and Oklahoma girls’ basketball. Preceded in death by his wife Evelyn D. Moore, parents Max and Alice Moore, brother Robert D. Moore and his son Michael Moore. He is survived by his son Gary S. Moore and wife Mary of McKinney, TX and his daughter Penny Rytlewski and her husband Brian of Noble, OK. He leaves behind grandchildren Kathryn Moore, Christina Jenkins and husband Jace, Amber Kraft and husband Benjamin , Rebecca Martin and husband Cody , along with great-grandchildren Lawrence, Mayson, Hayden, Everett, Charolette, Cherokee, and Harper.
