

Wilma F. Moody, was born July 16, 1937 in Henryetta, OK., to Carl & Faye Irvin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Doyle Moody, parents, stepmother, Geneva Irvin, sister, Alta Scott, brother, Gene Irvin, grandson, Trevor Covington.
Wilma is survived by her son, Terry Moody and three daughters, Lisa Covington and husband David , Rhonda Spain and Stacey Farris and husband, Brian, one brother, Ray Irvin and wife Deanna. Wilma cherished her grandchildren; Brittany Berry and husband Sam, Emily Moody, Dakota Spain, Shanda Moody, Aaron Farris, Alec and Zach Covington, and two great grandchildren, Landon and Chase. Wilma had countless other friends and family that brought immeasurable joy to her life. Wilma was a devoted member of The General Assembly & Church of the Firstborn. She was baptized May 4, 1959, by Brother Aurthur Freeman. Wilma was known as “Nana”, not only to family, but also by many others. She had on affinity with nature and undeniable love for gardening. Her joy was cooking and making sure her family was fed. Mom, we love and miss you and are so thankful for your shining example of Christianity and faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. We will carry your shining example of compassion and unselfish giving with us all the days of our lives. A special thanks to Uncle Ray, and Deanna, Brother Kenneth Herring, and Brother Leslie Marler for being there during our time of need. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Bill Eisenhour SE Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 21, 2011, at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
