DELCAMBRE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Russley A. Trahan, the former Dorothy “Dot” Landry, age 89 at 11:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Trahan passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at her daughter’s residence in Frisco, Texas.

Mrs. Trahan was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She made a difference in many people’s lives and will be greatly missed by everyone that loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Doreen Clark of Frisco, Texas and Darleen Cucullu of Colorado Springs, Colorado, as well as her grandchildren, Josh Schmaltz of Houston, Texas, Chelsea Clark of Frisco, Texas, and Laura and Matt Cucullu of Oakland, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russley A. Trahan; parents, Ludovic & Laura Landry; one sister, Rosie Landry and one brother, J.D. Landry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital-501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
