Helen Valls Baudoin

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Joseph Nolan Baudoin, the former Helen Valls, age 84, at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Baudoin passed away at 1:22 am on, Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence.

She is survived by one son, Joseph “Joey” Nolan Baudoin, Jr. of New Iberia; two daughters, Judy Vaughan and husband Daniel of Salem, Oregon and Patrice Baudoin Rose of New Iberia; seven grandchildren, Stuart Vaughan; Kelby Vaughan; Cory Baudoin; Kimberly Rogers; Casey Carter; Jennifer Rose and Edmund Rose IV; eleven great grandchildren, one brother, Howard Valls; a sister-in-law, Peggy Sonnier; and a brother-in-law, Murland Baudoin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nolan Baudoin; parents, Joseph and Beulah LeMaire Valls; six brothers, Raymond, J.C., Lloyd, Leo, Edward and James Valls; and two step sisters, RoseMary Lucas and Lillian LaSalle.

Pallbearers will be Kelby Vaughan, Stuart Vaughan, Cory Baudoin, Edmund Rose, IV, Michael Billiot and Justin Carter.
